Declaration of Data Protection We take data protection seriously

The protection of your privacy in the processing of your personal data is a matter which is of importance to us.  When you visit our Webpage, the network server regularly stores the IP address of your internet service provider, the Webpage where you are accessing us from, our WebPages which you visit as well as the date and duration of said visits.  This data is completely necessary for the technical transmission of the WebPages and the security of the server.  No personal evaluation is carried out as a result of said data.

Those contact details which you have forwarded on to us via our contact form will be stored in our server for their safekeeping.  Your personal data will only be used for the management of your particular issue.  They will be processed with absolute discretion. These will not be passed on to a third party.

Personal data

Personal data information relate to that which refers to you personally.  It includes your name, address and email address.  You do not need to provide your personal data in order to access our internet Webpage.  On some occasions, we will need your name and address as well as other details in order to provide you with the service required.

The same applies in the event of us providing you with information material at your own request or when responding to your enquiries.  In this instance, you will always receive a warning.  Only those details which you have provided automatically or voluntarily will be stored.

Should you require any of our services, we will simply ask you for those details which are necessary in order to provide you with such.  We may ask you for other details, but this will be voluntary.  When we process personal data, it will always be for the purpose of providing a service or to reach our commercial objectives.

Data stored automatically

Server-Log-Datei

The Webpage provider collects and automatically stores information in the Server-Log-Datei server which transmits it automatically to us.  This information is the following:

  • Time and date of the search
  • Name of the searched file
  • Webpage which the file refers to
  • Status (transmission of the file, file not found, etc)
  • Browser and operating system used
  • Full IP address of the requesting account
  • Amount of data transmitted

A combined processing of this data is not produced jointly with other data sources.  Processing is adjusted to Article 6, section 1, letter f of the Data Processing Regulation, based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our Webpage.

Due to technical security reasons, especially defence against attempts to hack in to our server, this data is briefly stored by us for a brief period of time.  This data does not infer with the identity of a specific individual.  Within no later than seven days, data becomes anonymous via means of a reduction of the IP address within the domain area in as much as it is no longer possible to establish a link with the specific user.  The data is also used for statistical purposes, in an anonymous manner without producing a verification of the same with other data groups, nor will it be transmitted to a third party, not even in extract.  Only during the process of creating the server statistics, those which we publish every two years within our regular activity, will we publish the amount of visitors which the Webpage has had.

Cookies

When you visit our Webpage, we store information on your computer in the shape of cookies. Cookies are not files which are transmitted by the internet server to your Browser and are stored within your hard drive. Only the address of the internet protocol remains stored – no personal data. This information stored within cookies allows you to be automatically recognized when next accessing our Webpage, hence facilitating browsing. The legal foundation for use of cookies can be found in Article 6, section 1, letter f of the Data Processing Regulation.

Naturally, you can visit our Webpage without accepting the cookies. If you do not wish for your computer to be identified during your next search, you can reject the use of cookies by modifying the configuration of your Browser to “reject cookies”. You will find the procedure for doing so within the user instructions of your Browser. However, should you choose to reject the use of cookies, a limitation in the use of some of the areas of the Webpage may occur.

Matomo (previously PIWIK) (Web analysis service)

An analysis service, namely Matomo, has been installed on our Webpage. Matomo uses cookies for its analysis. Cookies are small text files which are stored in your computer and permit a use analysis of the Webpage on your behalf. 

The information generated via cookies, for example, the time, location and frequency with which you access the Webpage, including your IP address is transferred to our PIWIK Server, where it is stored. Your IP address during this process becomes anonymous, so that for us, you remain an unknown user. The information stored in cookies relating to your use of our Webpage is not transmitted to a third party.  You can refrain from using cookies by simply configuring your Browser software. However we advise that in this case, you will not be able to use to its full extent, all of the WebPages functions.

Google Web Fonts

This webpage uses Web Fonts provided by Google for representing texts uniformly.  When carrying out a search, the Browser loads the Web Fonts necessary within the cache, in order to correctly show the fonts and types of script.  If your Browser does not support Web Fonts, your computer will use a standard script.

This Webpage uses Google Maps in order to show maps and configure travel plans.

Google Maps is managed by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater, Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

When using Google Maps via this Webpage you declare your consent with the creation, processing and use by Google, its representatives or third party suppliers, of the details automatically gathered and those provided by you.

Security

We have technical and administrative security procedures which protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and non authorised use.  All of our employees and people that provide us with a service are obliged to comply with data protection.

Whenever we store and process personal data, this information is protected by a password prior to its transmission.  This means that your details cannot be used by third parties.  Our security procedures are subject to continuous improvement processes and our declaration of data protection undergoes continuous restructuring.  Ensure that you have the latest version.

User rights

You have the right at all times to receive information, rectify, cancel or limit the processing of your stored personal data, the right to oppose against the processing and transmission of the data and to complain according to the provisions laid out within the data protection legislation.

The right to information:

You can request information relating to the existence and processing range on our behalf of your personal data.

The right to rectify:

In the event that we have personal data of yours which is incomplete or incorrect, you can request at any moment, a rectification or update of this.

The right to cancel:

You can request that your personal data be cancelled if it is being processed against your will, or if its processing affects disproportionately the legitimate protection of your interests.  Keep in mind that there may be reasons to not continue with an immediate cancellation of said data, for example, the established custodial legal obligation.

Without prejudice to your cancelation right, we shall proceed with the immediate and complete deletion of your personal data providing that there is no commercial or legal custodial obligation of these.

The right to limit the processing of data:

You can request from us a limitation of the processing of your personal data in the following cases:

  • If you are not in agreement with the veracity of the data, in which case, the limitation would be temporary until a correction is carried out.
  • If the processing does not adjust to what is regulated, but you do not wish to proceed with the cancelation, but simply a limitation of its use.
  • If the details were no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were originally stored, however you still need them in order to
  • validate your rights or defend your interests.
  • If you had appealed against the processing of said data.

The right to data transmission:

You can request that we place at your disposal your personal data, in a structured format, accessible and legible, in order to transfer said data to another responsible source without objection on our behalf, providing that:

  • We have processed these details based on a revocable consent given by you, or with the purpose of complying with a contract between both parties.
  • Said processing is carried out by automatic procedures.

In the event of it being technically possible, you can request the direct transmission of the data to another responsible party.

The right to oppose:

If the processing your personal data on our behalf responds to a legitimate interest, you can appeal said process at any time.  This would be likewise applicable when creating a profile based on these dispositions.  In this case, we would refrain from processing your personal data, unless we can present solid proof which would justify said use, which would be of a preferential nature over your interests, rights and freedom, or that the processing serves as recognition, exercise or defence of rights.  Processing of your personal data for publicity purposes can be appealed by you at any time without alleging a reason.

The right to complain:

Should you be of the opinion that the processing of your personal data not be adjusted to the current German or European data protection, we request that you contact us in order to clarify any queries that you may have.  Naturally you have the right to address the competent authority of the supervision of said data protection’s corresponding territorial administration.

Should you wish to make worth any of the previously presented rights, please address our responsible of data protection.  When in doubt, we may request further information from you in order to confirm your identity.

Modification of the Data Protection Declaration

We reserve the right to modify our Data Protection Declaration when necessary as a result of new technologies.  Please confirm that you have the latest version of this.  Should fundamental modifications of the declaration take place, we would notify this via our Webpage.
